Poll question: Vice President of the United States
I know it's a crying shame that this even has to be asked.

4. Cheney is part of the Exec, he is a cabinet member
http://www.whitehouse.gov/government/cabinet.html

He has no vote in the legislative, except as a tie-breaker.

Eight grade civics!!!

6. Some people go through life not even caring about this. Give the guy a
break. At least he/she has learned, right?

Peace.

7. According to the West Wing, nobody can work for two branches of gov't
That would mean that if the VP were to temporarily assme the POTUS' duties like Bush did for Raygun, then he would have to resign his position as VP if the VP were a member of the legislative branch. However, the VP is a member of the executive branch and thus he does not have to resign.

9. I'd love to see a serious source that considers the VP a member
of the legislative branch today.
