Bush went to war to get 're'-Elected
Correct me if I'm wrong, but a President has never been unseated during a time of war, right?

Think about it for a second.

How could the worst president in American History get reelected? I'm not just being subjective here either. Bush is a BAD president.

Controversial 2000 Election. He lost the Popular vote
Worst terrorist attack in American History
Wealthiest Administration
Record amount of problems in the economy
Several friends have been indicted

He is BAD, so how did he get reelected?

A. Stolen through Diebold
B. There were enough people who were totally ignorant of the world around them and voted for him
C. Political Capital (through the Iraq war)

Sure there were other reasons, I totally believe that they want to control the oil. But, Bush's personal reason was to save his sorry Administration.

4. I've been saying that too. They tried the "War President" routine with
9-11, but I guess it was wearing thin. Not enough "war" for the war president. So they invaded Iraq and made mention of * title very often. They even said after the eletion that not war time president had ever been defeated.

eta: Wow. A president who knows when it's time to pack it in and who does so gracefully? Blows your mind to think of it, doesn't it?
