Four US Mercs Killed in Iraq Much Like The Fallujah Attack 2 Yrs ago...
This time the US Military tried to cover it up.....

<snip>

FOUR US contractors for the US military were killed in Iraq last month, the US military admitted overnight, confirming an attack that a British newspaper said saw two of the men murdered in front of a jeering crowd. A military spokesman said the attack occurred on September 20 when insurgents fired rifles and rocket-propelled grenades at a convoy guarded by US troops after it made a wrong turn in Duluiya, near Balad north of Baghdad.

"Task Force Liberty soldiers responded to assist the convoy, administered first aid to two wounded contractors and evacuated the remains of four contractors killed in the attack," the spokesman said in a statement. No reason was given why the military had not released information on the attack earlier.

Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper gave an account of the incident that recalled the slaying of four contractors killed by a crowd in Fallujah in March last year, an incident which provoked the first of two major US offensives last year against rebels in the city west of Baghdad. The Telegraph, quoting a US officer in the area who had spoken to soldiers involved, said the victims were American employees of Halliburton unit Kellog, Brown & Root, the biggest US military contractor in Iraq.

4. I think Bushco sees the Fallujah debacle as the point where support...
...for the invasion turned south. So, it follows that they would attempt to embargo news of similar disasters.

5. Are they SURE this didn't happen.......
just inside the Syrian border? I'm surprised they didn't drag them there, they want to expand this illegal war into Syria so badly.
I have no pity for Mercs. People who kill other people for money shouldn't be surprised when they themselves get set upon. I feel for their families, that they were associated with someone so stupid and greedy who felt the need to profit from an illegal and immoral war.

Sometimes playing soldier has deadly consequences.
