Have any folks seen CNN showing "Happy Cancun Campers?" Cheering &Laughing |
|
Edited on Sun Oct-23-05 07:27 PM by KoKo01
about the "toilet overflowing facilities" the "food" (OMG...it's been so Wonderful with the Soda's and the Beans/Gourmet) from the folks who seem to have been "paid off" with a year's vacation to Hawaii or Las Vegas for what they endured in Cancun. The CNN keeps cutting them off when they try to speak about "overflowing toilets where one pee's and shit's in someone else's "doo" because the "Lifts" which raise water levels to "FLUSH MODE" just don't work on our Coasts at "SeaLevel or Below" so when one does "bodily functions" in times of Hurricanes one is cast by the M$M as what went on in the New Orlean's "Superdome" and therefore is NOT TO BE TRUSTED.
So...Cancun "Smiling Faces" are just "Kids on a Lark" who thought it was ALL "Roughing it Mexico." Something one writes home about...because it was easier than the "Peace Corps Service." :D

1. I just saw the CNN report. I think the people I saw interviewed |
|
were just grateful to be alive, and they had/have it better than most; there's always the pill who claims she hasn't had a shower, blah blah blah. I didn't see the 'toilet' story, but I think they were lucky to have toilets.

until the CNN reporter seemed to get an "ear wire voice" telling her to "Cut it OFF!" when one person said..."Food is running short."
This was after a report about how the "Resort" was handling the food showing a "cafeteria type" layout of folks getting food in "trays" and another CNN Camera Report about "soda, water, soft drink supplies being stacked to the ying yang to keep these folks "hydrated," during their "ordeal." Made me think..that if they don't have food they can always go to the "SODA/SUGAR or ASPERTAIME WATER" solution...and keep alive for WEEKS! GOOD FOR THEM!

I think after 3 or 4 days of this, they might be just as frustrated as people were in the Superdome 3 or 4 days after Katrina.
I vote for them being in the "thankful to be alive" mode. For now.

6. FEMA already looks like bumblers |
|
compared to the officials in Cancun, at least from what I see and read, and they'll even look worse if Mexican relief efforts continue to move promptly. And I suspect that, since Mexico doesn't want to suffer a black eye with future tourists, they will.
Of course, Mexico would have to strive mightily to ever sink to the level of incompetence reached by Chertoff, Brownie & co....
