I have -- no, had -- an uncle who spent a couple of weeks at a stateside Naval hospital. Just as he seemed to have recovered from his original condition, he gets this bug that returning Iraq soldiers in the hospital have, falls into coma and dies. Am I wrong to think of this illness and death as the result of Bush Administration's choice to start the illegal and unjustified war in Iraq? Far-fetched idea borne from personal animosity? Did Bush kill my uncle? Wondering what more detached DUers might think.

We are now headed to 2000 troops killed in this war.I talked to Cindy Sheehan today and she said she is heading back to DC tonight and will be there at 6:45 at the airport and then she plans on going to the white house as soon as they announce 2000 dead and she will tie herself to the fence at the white house until they arrest her and lock her up and when she gets out she will go back and get arrested again. Seems like nothing else is getting the politicans attention to get them to take a stand against this war.How many more must die to keep the cowboy in the white house happy??He cant ride a horse so guess he thinks this makes him look like a man.He is beyond pathetic and a murderer. Wake up people this has to end NOW.!!!!!

as big as this - it feels so empty to have that hole in your family, and we all seek to find reasons for the loss of those that we love. many folks that go into hospitals go in sick and weakened. Many others, from all over the world, also come in to hospitals with their sicknesses, often communicable. There is no way of telling what the one overriding factor was in his death, not from your post. I would like to mirror one statement that you made, however "...idea born from personal animosity", and ask you to not confuse that with your justifiable grief. Your pain is looking for an answer, but you won't find it at that shithead president's door. You will only find it with the passing of time and the gathering in of love of those who love you. Please do that for yourself - acknowledge your grief and fall back on your loved ones, who hurt as well.
Karma will get that cabal in the white house - look - things are already falling apart for them... the world has a way of balancing itself in the end.
And while you wait for these rough times to pass, find the positive path and follow it. But not with a vengeance born of tenuous reasoning.
