2. Fluwikie is an amazing site not only for flu info but for any |

for any disaster preparedness. I particularly appreciate the discussion and info about face masks. I've been trying to find info about them and their effectiveness however there is very little info out there. The in depth info Fluwikie provides is outstanding.
As an aside I had found an article about North American authorities playing down the effectiveness of face masks during SARS, arguing that encouraging people to don them heightened distrust between people. In contrast Hong Kong authorities strongly encouraged their use and had public campaigns to play up the notion that wearing them was a positive contribution to the community. So when NA authorities now seem to fixate on Tamiflu supplies I am left wondering whether there is a bias against encouraging people to stock up on masks. So I was thrilled that Fluwikie has lots of info about face masks.
If I was not the OP I would nominate the thread just so people get to eyeball Fluwikie. It's strange that I never across it as I hit so many flu related sites. Thanks for posting it.
