Please, for the love of God explain to me the difference.

Bush is going ape-shit over Syria’s involvement in the assassination of Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri. What I want explained is the difference between that and the US involvement in the Salvador Allende overthrow in Chile, or the Dr. Mohammed Mossadegh affair. What Syria did is no worse than what the US plotted and attempted against Castro. The only difference is the Syrians were better at the deed than we.

The stink of hypocrisy is rising to the heavens.

1. no, but they need an excuse to invade
and they're going to try to use this. bolton probably did some "convincing" over at the UN and more than likely had great influence on the report that was released.

3. For some weird reason, he must think he's got a snowball's chance of
staying alive politically long enough to need a future justification for his planned invasion of Syria.

But then, Saddam Hussein still thinks he's president of Iraq....

5. If you really want to blow your mind
wait for Pat Roberts to start bitching about Syria assassinating Hariri less than a month after he called for Hugo Chavez's assassination

6. You mean "Robertson", not that it makes much difference.
They're both doddering, creepy, and pro-violence.

9. I Doubt They Had Anything To Do With It. I Want Some Evidence.

Not just reports on a report that concluded...

FACTS AND PROOF. Otherwise it is not significantly different of claims of WMD in Iraq. Full of shit!
