The difference between Republicans and Democrats
My husband is a repub. - Yes I feel your sympathy.

Today I noticed that my Angelfish, the Queen of my aquarium was acting really sick, and that one of the other fish was starting to nip at her, which happens when one fish is sick.

I told my husband that I thought she was going to die, and why, and how the other fish was starting to attack her.

My husbands response? Maybe we should flush her down the toilet since she is going to die anyway.

My response - NO WAY! I'm going to make her better. I dropped everything, cleaned the tank, added fresh water, and a herbal medicine for fish (Melafix - if you have an aquarium, you need this stuff).

She seems alot better - yeah!

And as I was thinking about what happened, I realized this sums it all up - what the difference between a republican and a democrat really is.

The republicans could care less about the weak and the needy. They have the "so what do you want me to do about it" attitude. While democrats have big hearts. A democrat will do what ever it takes to make things right. Democrats make sure that all living things receive the care that they need.

1. You're married to a Republican?
If so, my condolences.

3. Happy to hear your fish is doing better! And, yes, Dem's have
big hearts and serious concerns for others. It's our compassion that separates us from Repubs.
I give you a lot of credit being married to a Repub. I don't think my marriage would withstand that kind of a difference.
