3. Guess a genre has developed
Jackass on camera, mocrophone in one hand, hanging onto a tree with the other, trees and cows blowing by in the background.

5. I always stick with The Weather Channel, at least they know...
...what they are talking about. Plus, this is the highlight of their year, kind of like a Sports guy covering the Super Bowl.

8. Well said, SoCalDem.
It's always boggled my mind what the news producers wish to accomplish with this kind of reporting. It has absolutely no news value at all. None, zip, nada. Here is a partial list of my favorite CNN hurricane fools:

Gary Tuchman
Anderson Cooper (sad to say)
John Zarella

You want hurricane information? Listen to Max Mayfield and the weathermen/women.

10. Anderson Cooper on Marco Island is in the eye of the storm
He said he saw people with flashlights walking on the beach and then he said "There is no reason to be out here. This is a very dangerous situation and there is really nothing to see." And I thought irony was dead. :eyes:

14. The "kneeling guy" was doing his best "mime walking against wind"
in a later spot, and a guy in shorts & flipflops saunters across the street behind him.. I was not fast enough with my digital camera to catch it, but i was

9. Down here in Florida...
ALL the stations have been showing hurricane reports ALL the time for two days. Just hour after hour of the same shit!

As you say, we get it!

11. What if it were fire instead of rain?
Will we next see these clowns reporting from inside burning buildings? Sheesh.
