Free Effexor for all the "word of caution/don't get too excited"
posters, and all the fragile DUer's who are the focus of their thoughtful posts. I have a crapload of leftover Effexor and Wellbutrin bc I'm trying to wean myself from meds. It may be a challenge with potential disappointments upcoming, but hey that's life, you roll with the punches. I am greatly concerned about the startling number of posters that are losing sleep over their concern for the emotional well-being of 80,000 DUers, what a heavy burden to carry. These poor souls not only have their own chaotic overwhelming feelings to cope with, but every single one of us.

Thank goodness for a near hourly post reminding us that there are many other DUers very worried about our emotional state should we be disappointed. Where were these people this time last year, dammit?! I had a complete nervous breakdown and was hospitalized for months. If only someone had posted a concerned word of warning that Kerry might not win. *sigh* Live and learn.

oh well, this is what makes life exciting, if everything was predictable, well, then I'd be Republican-ha.

1. I won't need it.

If there are no indictments, I'll be disappointed. But I do have faith in the Fitz. I've always said it would have to be a Republican to show the uninterested majority about the Bush administration corruption, but little did I know there was a guy out there that would be considered the MOST apolitical.

If there are indictments, I don't think Republicans will bad mouth and attack him. But if there are no indictments, the Democrats will not attack him either. Can't get any better than that. And that's the way it should be.

2. Thank you for your post. I'm concerned about the atmosphere too.
I do hope something happens because if it doesn't it won't be pretty.

Could it be incognito freepers hyping us for the fall?

4. Nobody except Fitz knows what's going to happen
at this point. Yeah, I'm hopeful, but I got through being betrayed by Kerry, I'll get through this if it turns out to be nothing. But incognito freepers hyping us for the fall? No their too busy pumping themselves up because they're scared shitless.

The OP might want to send his meds over there. You know, fight the crazies over there so we don't have to fight them here. ;)

3. Is tomorrow the day? I just don't think about it.
There are millions of people in harms way tonight (Wilma's a Cat 3 again).

Their is no point in worrying about it, their is nothing any of us can do about it.

5. The journey.
Fitz is but one step in the journey - a step of unknown significance.

Even if he brings down the whole gov't, the journey will not be over.

Throughout the journey there will be many celebrations, and many setbacks. It is the nature of such things.

No matter what happens this week, the following week we'll have to press on toward the next milestone - either merrily skipping, or trudging, heads bowed.

6. I believe that there will be some indictments this week. However,
if that turns out not to be the case, we may have been given the cardinal clue as to how to bring down the Bush cabal, and that would be through what's left of our not as yet completely taken over court system. Yes, ultimately, any court processes will lead to the SUPREMES who will, of course, cover for Bush. However, in the process of information exposure, it won't matter what the SCOTUS says, the American public will have already been clearly told what the crooks have been doing. Nothing would keep them in power after that short of a total military takeover by the Pentagon and I don't think that our rank and file soldiers would be willing to shoot their fellow Americans for trying to defend their Country.

7. Just like (almost) everyone else on this board,
I am curious and hopeful about the outcome of the Grand Jury probe. On the other hand, I haven't lost any sleep over it, nor have I needed any Maalox to calm a nervous stomach.
