Not too get too religious, but do you think God's pissed off?
- Eight Hurricanes striking the U.S.
- India/Pakistan earthquake
- Asia tsunami

All during the last two years.

Can anyone ever remember a time like this in history in terms of catastrophic natural disasters one after another?

2. No, it's not god. It's Mother Nature striking back
at our destruction of the planet.

3. Yes I think God is pissed. As for memory, natural disasters haven't
been my main basis of study. Think of Pompei. All those volcanos that killed 60,000. Life has really never been safe. Just that we had a lull there for awhile.

4. You left off the worst disaster of all.
It's squatting in the Oval Office right now. If God put it there, He must really hate us.

8. Its the end times. Jesus is coming back. The Rapture is upon us!
:sarcasm:

And, no, I don't think God is pissed.

I don't think God gets "pissed".

And I don't think he controls the weather.

9. Planet to Inhabitants: GET OUT
No, I dont believe in the kind of god that gets mad and indiscriminately kills thousands of people. For one thing, I'd think god would have better aim.

10. No
There has been many times in history with many disasters. It's just the earth doing what it does and it has been doing it for quite some time now.

11. If this is God being pissed,
well I'm pissed.

Are we messing up here? Of course we are but the smited ones destroyed by these disasters are hardly those most to blame.
God should be able to do a little better then our "precision bombing" that wipes out families and neighborhoods in hopes of getting a bad guy.

12. Maybe yes and maybe no on the precision thing
Maybe God operates on the "Kill 'em all---I'll sort 'em out later" theory.

Mad at people who use her name to make political brownie points with the likes of Jerry and Pat's flocks.

14. Of course not
That's about as believable as "Intelligent Design". Storms happen. Our treatment of the planet is most likely quite contributory to changes in weather patterns. But if there is a God and that God is pissed, why would that being pick on poor areas instead of the people who are causing the problems?

I really can't imagine there is some magic being controlling the weather. TOo much of a stretch for me.

16. Since I don't think there is a god
At least to the extent of how most religions describe it, the question is irrelevant.

17. Maybe he's just pissed
that would explain the lack of concern from an all powerful being.

21. What if he doesn't care?
what if she/he is just fed up with humanity and their wars and greed.
Destroying the environment, passing bills that lift restrictions on green gases.
There are times I think, we'd of been better of converting to Native American religion and learning from them.

22. Didn't Cayce say something about the "Ring of Fire" and the
Lay of the land (map of the world) changing due to water rising (global warming), etc. All this before we had peace.
