Dear Mr. Bush,
It is well known that I am a person of deep and convicted opposition to the gamut of your policies, your political tactics, and your ideologies. Further, on a personal level, I must confess that my experiences in regard to living in a country dominated by your mere presence and ability to affect it has served little else than for me to despise you as a human being.
That said, sir, you may interpret this message as biased should you wish; however, my reasoning transcends my personal loathing of you. Rather, this message is intended to voice a growing opinion of what must be done to protect the integrity and whatever dignity remains in this great nation.
Bluntly, sir, you should step down as President. Further, you should remove yourself from politics altogether.
There are countless reasons for you to consider my suggestion, many of which were all too clear and were predicted by many of us who had always seen it coming.
For example, sir, many of us equated your first “victory” in the 2000 election to a clear knowledge that for one reason or another, we would be at war with Iraq. Ironically, you had found the most despicable way to ensure your agenda by first instilling a perpetual fear in the typical American, and upon its success, you then pushed to create a perpetual war (the War on “Terror”;) a war that has no specific target, enemy, nor geographic location.
And now, on this day, evidence is becoming clear that you were so desperate to fulfill your own sense of imperialism, you had blatantly and deliberately lied and delineated a push to mislead the American people, which is nothing short of criminal.
Another glaring example of your need to step down is the complete and oblivious failure of yourself, your administration, and your appointees in reference to hurricane Katrina. The shortest statement I can derive to sum up your failure is this:
Your ideas and methods for governing are delusional. The application of your delusion upon reality is sickening. Your experience and character is unqualified to the brink of utter incompetence.
In addition, your own mother has proven the degree of your delusional values and precisely where you had derived them. Ironically, all she had to do was open her mouth.
And so, sir, in an attempt to avoid making this an unbearably long letter, I shall sum up my direct and shared opinion on what would serve our nation best. And that clearly is this:
For the good of the nation, you should step down, Mr. President.
Sincerely,
AGG
