is the perpetrator here, and he sure looks like a biker. Maybe from Alabama, according to his shirt, but that's not for certain. I ride a Harley, and I've got shirts from other states where I've been.

Once I ran across a group called, Bikers for Jesus. They were a bunch of Christians who rode around to events with the 'regular' bikers, and tried to convert them to what they believed to be a more appropriate way of life. No 'in your face' posturing, they were just there having a good time. I'm not a religious sort of guy, but I respected them. My point is, even legitimate Christians (as opposed to the weenie who made this sign) can be found at these events.

But hey, I shared this picture just for fun, and I have not been disappointed at all. Looks like some other folks got a chuckle too.

Anyway, I'm from Chattanooga and--believe it or not--it's a fairly liberal town, especially so far as south Tennessee goes. Chattanooga is especially fond of beer and live music venues, tho', and these big outdoor parties tend to attract a set of local fire-and-brimstone street preachers. There are twin brothers who dress up like Jesus and drag big crosses around behind them, accompanied by a sweaty man with a loud-speaker! We call them the Twin Jesuii. This sign looks reeeaaallly familiar, and I bet he's one of our local loonies. However, don't judge all of Chattown by this fellow!

:hi: And yes we love the music. There's free outdoor music (the fall music concert series) and we have a huge festival in the summer in June (Riverbend) and there's tons of beer and stuff there. Chattanooga can go either way though. In 1997-2001 we had a democratic mayor, 2001-2005 we had a republican and now we have an indie although I've had some people tell me he's a democrat. :shrug: When I met the now mayor (who I voted for) he told me he was an indie because he had problems with both parties and didn't want to run for anything past being mayor. I saw lots of Kerry signs last year and still see some bumper stickers around town. Last year when I went downtown to pick up my Kerry gear I saw maybe two/three Bush signs downtown. :D But Chattanooga in itself is good. We're home to Samuel Jackson, Bessie Smith, Usher Raymond and the guy who played "Mr. Belding" the principle on "Saved by the Bell" when that show was on oh and Reggie White the football player. ;) Our governor is currently a democrat (and no he's not a DLCer believe it or not!).
