Isn't that a shame?

Some of the mods seem more committed to shutting up opinions they don't like than fairly adminstering the site.

This is why we keep losing elections. We have too many Dems who would rather lose than hear things they don't want to hear.

Stop locking threads because you disagree with them. Are your egos so fragile you can't read dissent?
