Asked about the Federal Reserve Chairman and Snotty tells us what the Federal Reserve does. Well, duh, really?

I recently got a letter from one of my asswipe senators, Mitch McConnell, in response to my request to have an independent investigation into the Katrina screw ups. The letter goes on for four paragraphs giving me the vital statistics on the Katrina, ex - "massive hurricane with 155 mph winds slammed into the Gulf Coast of the souther United States leaving hundreds of thousands of displaced over a 90,000 square mile area." and tells me it was a "devastating tragedy" (really?!?) and "one of the worst natural disasters in American history." (okay-y-y-y-y) and "essential we are adequately prepared," and "looks forward to working with my colleagues in the Senate to address these issues." (it's citizen screwing time again in DC)

Nothing about what I wrote to him about. Just silly, jingoistic phrases for over a half a page. He has evidently confused me with one of his airhead worshipers who is just thrilled to get a "special" little letter from him. Not. I wrote back with corrections in the margin of the letter stating he did not address my question and re-stated my concerns. Can't wait to see if I get another form letter.
