It would appear that the promotion of McNulty #2 at the DOJ and Fitz's indictments suggest that White House is flushing out all the NeoCons and opting for a "new management" probably by Daddy Bush. The days of the neo-cons are over.....that means the Bushes are saved. I wonder what will happen to Mr Cheney?

1. I Heard About McNulty, Very Curious, Indeed
Is he being bought off to lay off the AIPAC investigations or does this suggest some sort of "cleaning house" as you posit? I don't know, but it's very curious.

This is the guy who got Franklin to plead, correct?

3. Fitz
is "stovepiping" information about the Italian's heavily redacted Niger investigation to McNulty. The Franklin investigation and the Plame investigation seem to be heading in the same direction, into the murky waters of Ledeen and company and the Niger forgeries.

4. McNulty is a "reliable" RWer. Don't know why Dems think he is OK
I work with lawyers who have known him for years. He's no Pat Fitzgerald, but a RWer who will carry the GOP's water.
