Fitzmas and the Hen
"The hen is the most wise of creatures for she never cackles before she has produced." - Paraphrase of Abraham Lincoln.

I think we are cackling a little early, my friends.

2. Me too. I got built up for Dean - and am STILL flabbergasted that he did
not win. Then I got built up for us (democrats) winning the election and was so disappointed that I am just now starting to watch the news again

I understand everybody wanting to feel happy and hopeful at the latest turn of events - but I have been burned once too often. I, personally, am going to wait to get my hopes too high.

But I understand when other people don't feel that way and want to celebrate.

Also, I must say I have enjoyed all the Fitmus poems.:)

3. This thing can go all sorts of ways
and assuming that it leads to something bad for the Bushistas is very much a preemie at this point. The most fascinating element so far is this info that Fitz has been granted access to the Italian Investigation into the Niger claims.

The thing that would tell me he's gnawing on raw meat would be an extension of his powers, reminiscent of Ken Starr's expansion from a money-losing land transaction into private, consensual sex.

We yearn for the downfall of this thugocracy at 1600 Pennsylvania, but we've seen them step in it time after time, only to come out smelling like a Rove, er, Rose.

Yeah, but . . .

5. Pfft! We're having fun.
That said, you're right, should Fitz return NO indictments, I will swear off DU for a few weeks. I don't think I could stand the whining and carrying on (and blaming of Fitz) that will occur.
