1. That is one of the great sequences in film
That and the opening "gunshot" sound effect of the newspaper reporter's typewriter.

6. Yes -- the "gunshot" SFX are perfect
I also like the scene where Woodward gets spooked after meeting DT and goes to Bernstein's apt. in the middle of the night. They're both freaked out. They crank up the stereo and start trading places at the typewriter to type notes to each other. One of them ends a sentence with an exclamation point -- period-backspace-apostrophe. I used to have a typewriter like that!

Nowadays they'd be text messaging.

I'd watch it again tonight except I'm leading an online class re: Vertigo.

2. I just rented that the other night
Kind of like the way I get ready for Christmas by watching It's A Wonderful Life...gettin' ready for Fitzmas!

Though I'd seen it before, it was amazing hearing them talk about some of the same players in this latest traitorgate.

Sends chills up your spine.

4. I have it on tape.........
.........but it's good to hear it's also been on TV.

Ever since the last election, I've been watching it from time to time and I watched it again last night. Since the last election, I've believed that the only thing that could save us now is another Watergate. But I never expected something of the scope of Fitzgerald's investigation!!!
