Repelling the Attack against Fitzgerald |
|
Just thinking aloud:
Perhaps it is premature to raise this topic, but just reading of the tactics beginning to appear on the right to impugn the reputation of Fitzgerald is infuriating me.
In the event Fitzgerald has the guts to bring the indictments we all hope for, I want to do everything in my power to defend him and take action against those who would tarnish or impugn his reputation.
I have not given it a whole lot of thought, but I was wondering if there would be any possibility of us building a sort of organized effort or "action thread" so we could immediately inundate anyone who propitiates these attacks against him or tries to trivialize the charges he may bring with a very strong negative response.
Maybe I'm putting the cart before the horse, but my hopes are so high, and I don't want to just let the right wing purveyors of deceit throw mud on this man. If he does his part, I want to help him in any way I possibly can.
Maybe the minute an attack is launched, we could counter-attack, or something, and INSIST that the mainstream media not misrepresent this man's reputation or history in any way.
I would do the same for Elliott Ness.

1. These attacks on him are desperate. |
|
We should jusst keep repeating that over and over. One word. Desperate. And laugh while we say it. Because it's true.

If and when the idictments come, the right-wingers will only be more shocked and confused: "But, but, we told ourselves this wouldn't happen!"
They all (or at least most) chose to defend Bushco, let them see what happens when you are all talk and no cattle.

4. I think MSM is in a bind |
|
They've been portraying Fiyz as a straight arrow for two years now what could possibly have happened to make him all of a sudden an out of control zealot. We might hear swiftboating from twits like Hannity and Limpballs but I think the MSM will hold back.

that they are working on their attack strategy as we speak to first trivialize the charges and then impune the work of the prosecutor. So I would imagine we will have to get organized quite fast to counter the coming spin.

8. I know, he probably has brass balls |

It's the sheeple and gutless wonders I'm worried about. I don't want Fitz to get swift boated, and I don't want to let anyone get away with it this time. Not Hannity, or Limpballs, or anyone. I want to make them feel humiliated for taking a stand against justice. This could be an opportunity to get rid of these pieces of crap by unveiling them to be complete hypocrites.
Anyone see The Untouchables?
By the end of that movie, wouldn't have anyone who opposed Elliott Ness looked like a fool? Why can't we do that to anyone who would oppose Fitzgerald?

9. They can say whatever they want about him. Doesn't matter. |
|
He's not running for anything. They are dealing with him the way they are used to dealing with their political enemies, but it won't work this time. This isn't political. It's criminal.

But I don't want there to be any doubt about this.
Sorry, maybe I'm being prematurely irrational, but I don't want any dirt cast on this man. I want to totally neutralize the attacks on him, and I think people like us will need to help.
And I have no experience in organizing a defense of a good man, so I just thought I would throw this out, in case we could do it.
