By the way, I had friends who attended Stanford and Condi was NO friend to the Black students there. Actually went out of her way NOT to be helpful. I find it funny that all of these Reagan era Black Republicans who turned their backs on black folks a decade or so ago are now trying to engage in revisionist history in order to help the Republicans appeal to Black folks. Can't spend most of your career distancing yourself from Black folks and then expect them to embrace your shallow opportunism. How dare she use the deaths of the four young girls to advance her political agenda.

Other than agree with white folks, help start the propoganda on the war in Iraq, totally stepped on and played Colin Powell, she handed it to him and he delivered it the world. Kinda like Omarosa huh? Atleast he stepped down once he realized he was lied to and set-up! Atleast he takes responsibility. She told the NO evaucees to just pray! Well, I wonder why she did not say that to the 9/11 victims? Or the Floridians when they were struck with devastation, no they came fast, quick in a hurry with MONEY! While blacks should pray that they will be treated the same as other Americans and taxpayers. She is count out 1, 2, 3 going, going gone!

Birmingham, to pretend she cared about those poor kids who were killed decades ago, was the last straw for black people. She is despised in the Caribbean - if only she knew how much. Even Colin is despised and his parents were Jamaican. Some people loved him for a while but he is a disgrace - we celebrate Harry Belafonte - fugg Condi and Colin.

We clearly know that there were in the past and have been contacts between senior Iraqi officials and members of al-Qaida going back for actually quite a long time.

We know too that several of the detainees, in particular some high ranking detainees, have said that Iraq provided some training to al-Qaida in chemical weapons development.

So, yes, there are contacts between Iraq and al-Qaida. We know that Saddam Hussein has a long history with terrorism in general. And there are some al-Qaida personnel who found refuge in Baghdad.

i worked at this company some time ago and my supervisor was a local gop activist. we "argued" about politics in a nice way all the time. he was a very nice man, not vindictive at all about some of the anti-repub things i used to say (i often wondered if he was in the party just for the money).

anyway, he pretty much told me if i played my cards right (agree to the gop worldview), as a black woman, he could pull some strings and i could go "pretty far" in a party that desperately needed such tokens to put on display.

i just laughed him off, until i realized he was serious.

i kindly said "no way" and was in a semi-state of shock the rest of the day.
