I'm listening to the Majority Report |
|
and can't help wondering if Republicans aren't now wishing they hadn't gone to such ridiculous lengths to impeach Bill Clinton. As Bob Marley said 'if yuh dig one ditch, yuh better dig two'. This is comical indeed. Treason!!!!!

5. They knew their impeachment attempt of Clinton was a slippery slope. |
|
But their intense overwhelming hatred of the man made them disregard it. Now they are acting surprised about all that is happening right now, when THEY are the primary cause of it.
To quote my grandpappy "Fuck em' they shit where they eat, now they gotta dine"

|
fuck them indeed. This is just too good    Still I have this uneasy feeling that they're likely to do something to divert attention. I hope it's too late for that.

8. Perjury about an affair=crime... perjury to cover treason: technicality |
|
It's too ridiculous to even make a joke about it. It's that ridiculous.

9. For the fiftieth time! |
|
Livingston, Gingrich, Hyde, all done in by sex scandals. The quotes about the sanctity of oaths and perjury coming back, the defense of the prosecutor coming back, the importance of the accusation itself is coming back....
But nothing new. Every criticism of Clinton has been indulged by Bush and repugs ten times over. Bush criticized Kosovo and said it was a strain on the military. Clinton had pot, Bush had drink and coke. Clinton was a draft dodger, Bush was a draft evader.
Clinton wagged the dog, Bush goes orange alert.
Republicans didn't think they were setting standards for anyone but Clinton. Idiots.

12. I hope she hurry's up and finishes it then |
|
Because I really like her on 'The Majority Report'...I like 'The West Wing' too. But you know, IF man and fish can co-exist peacefully, then Garofalo SHOULD be able to do a few Majority Reports a week AND do some of 'The West Wing' a week.

14. Where is AAR recorded? |
|
Because West Wing tapes in Los Angeles, and if AAR is on the East Coast, that would be a lot of back-and-forth.
I miss her, too, but as long as they keep in touch with her via phone, I'll be satisfied.

15. 'The Majority Report' comes out of New York |
|
Edited on Mon Oct-24-05 07:29 PM by ...of J.Temperance
She wouldn't have to fly back and forth from Los Angeles, she could hook up with Seder in New York via a link to Los Angeles...for now, I suppose the phone must suffice.
You know that the man and fish co-existing thing was one of Junior's MANY gaffes. He's a stupid bastard, but some of the stuff he says is pretty funny.
