Why won't the networks use strong footnotes like that when talking about the Chimp and company? Are they saying half lying about blowjobs is a crisis and outing a covert CIA operative etc. etc. isn't?

to editorialize a bit about the obvious incompetence and corruption we are seeing.
That is why what he is doing, is the closest equivalent to what Edward R. Murrow did with McCarthyism as portrayed in "Good Night and Good Luck". Unfortunately, the big difference is that Keith is nowhere near the household name that Murrow was.
We can only hope that he will be, someday.
