Who is going to win the election on The West Wing?
West Wing threads inspired me. I am dying to see who wins it. I can't believe that they would have a Republican win on the show but it would throw everyone for a loop and be a little more realistic. What do you all think?

2. Alan Alda
but his administration will be short lived because I think this will be the last season, unless there is a sudden upswing in the ratings.

9. It's not a republican--it's Alan Alda
one of the most beloved tv stars of all-time. Yes, he's playing a Republican but not a hardline Bushite--but a more moderate republican. There are lots of possibilities that can happen if he took charge. He would have to deal with the Democrats, but also with the hard right of his own party. It would show how the Republican party is dominated by its right wing.

4. I figured that it would be Smits
because of the opening credits. He's at the end just before Sheen. Plus, the word going around is that Alda doesn't do regular series. Unless.....if the show comes back for another year, the focus is not on the current administration. No, wait, then they'd have to change the name of the show......never mind

:silly:

CJ and Danny with their baby, Charlie, and Bartlett, and Josh comes in to tell them the president has arrived.....Why would Josh be accompanying a Republican president?

5. Santos with some new blood...
with Josh, Donna and they really need to bring back Sam Seaborne. Show hasn't been the same without him.

10. It was.
Rob Lowe is actually performing onstage in "A Few Good Men" in London, directed by none other than Aaron Sorkin, the (genius) creator of TWW.

14. Donna hasn't been around for awhile...
There was one episode where she tried to get on the Santos campaign but Josh would have none of it. There is a slim possibility they'll consider taking her on now that they've started to clean house on the Santos campaign, but I haven't seen her in the opening credits all season.

13. I'd take Sheen.
:D

Hell, mix Jed Bartlet's intellect with the sight of Matt Santos in a flight suit, and I'd go :loveya:
