putting clever criminals into some new accomodations. You should read his motion to deny MIllers request for reconsideration of her motion to stay out of jail and have home confinement.
He wrote; "a forced vacation at a comfortable home is not a compelling reason for coercion." He's a junk yard dog.

though I am tempted. He could go down in history as the savior of the republic, or end up like Brutus, the guy who had a chance to save the republic, but blew it, eventually resulting in the fall of civilization and 500 years of Dark Ages before the long, slow 1000-year climb out of the morass of dictatorship.
Let's see. That would make it 3700 AD before we got another shot at democracy. But considering our Caesars, Goths and Vandals have nuclear weapons, we might be talking about something more like 37,000 AD.
No pressure.
