Lot's of elderly could be stuck in those Florida Highrisers. |

With no power for elevators how does one get from the top floors down? You'd need alot of rescue crews to get into all those highrises with blown out windows and go up 20 something floors. Some elderly might be stuck in their with limited resources and food going bad. Not only the elderly but others may be injured by glass from the blown in windows.
I think lots is not being reported about Wilma, in my scan of the cables this a.m. Also saw Haiti and Dominican Republic had floods and deaths from Wilma. American Tourists are still trapped in Cancun and water and food are running out. Yesterday CNN had a report that Americans weren't getting help from the Embassy in trying to get out of there.
So much not being covered. It's just photo's of minor damage in Naples and some trees down in Ft. Lauderdale.
Nothing to see there, just move along. Jeb has it all under control. :eyes:

I, too am concerned about the lack of coverage. Perhaps too many other things going on? I turned on all three of the Spanish language stations in this area, and they are reporting Wilma 24/7. Clean-up in Cancun, storm in FL, flooding in Havanna, Alpha in Dominican Republic, etc. Quite a contrast to our meager coverage.
