KNX reported that Reuters says that
Homeland Security Dept. is monitoring...DHS tells Reuters that John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California also had a phoned-in bomb threat.Cannot find a coroborating link via Reuters at this time. (6:52 a.m. PST) However, a Delta 1778 departing from John Wayne at 7:45A is showing at the airport's web site now as still "On-Time."

NX-LA confirms that there were two bomb threats: Long Beach and John Wayne airports.
John Wayne was cleared and vetted earlier this morning, so it will open this morning on-time. John Wayne Airport spokesperson Jenny Webb said they recieved a call early this morning of a "non-specific nature." They've given the all-clear.
Long Beach is closed (with the exception of 2 planes coming in now...but will be held in security.) Long Beach is wrapping up their sweep of their airport, with a short hold (probably until sometime around 8:00 a.m. PST.)
