This guy is basically plotting out the strategy of the latest "Crusade" war against other countries that defy his will. He talks about other tyrants, but appears lost that the very words he describes them with could be applied to himself! * sucks!

He Desperately Wants Us To Be Attacked Again
Then he can call off the investigation and they all get off scott-free.

8. That's an interesting point. I hadn't thought of that.

If I recall correctly, he used the word "crusade" a few weeks ago as well. It really jumped out at me since he was so widely lampooned for doing so back in 2001.

I wonder if he's poking the hornets nest a bit as you suggest, trying to stir up a little diversion?

9. He'd have to be dumber than a box of rocks....
...to use it unless that was his specific intent. (Well, yeah, ok, your point is well taken there. But his speech writer isn't that dumb.)

That's roughly like telling 9 zillion Muslims to "bring it on..."

4. He is speaking to the choir, officers' wives luncheon
He is lip smacking, jaw twitching, slurring to the max. He is trying to make sure that we are fearful of those miserable muslims/terrorist who got us on 9/11! He is a mess. Someone needs to count the words used like terrorist, enemy, cruel, want us all dead, terrorist plots, Zarkawi (sp?), wmds, outlaw regimes (Syria). Bottom line, he wants to keep the good fight going, the evil are after us, be fearful.

5. Could ANYONE stay sober if we had a "terrorist" word drinking game?
I think even "Fat Bastard" would have a tough time staying sober if we all had to down a shot each time we heard Bush say "terrist"!

12. Back in 2001 he used the word "crusade"
Edited on Tue Oct-25-05 11:43 AM by Rob H.
and when people in Europe drew a collective gasp of surprise and horror, spokesreptile Ari Fleischer said Bush had intended it to mean "a broad cause." I know Bush is an idiot, but someone should've told him--or at least his speechwriters--what a negative connotation that particular word would have in the Muslim world. And naturally no one in the corporate media pointed out that during his drink-soaked years at Yale he was a HISTORY MAJOR and should probably have known better. (Not that Bush remembers any of his time at Yale, but still.)
