Is he trying to disrupt another story that might be breaking? This seems like an awfully long speech this morning? He cannot be trusted.

1. The MSM still grovel at the feet of these freaks!!!
It's jsut another FEAR, FEAR, TERRA, TERRA rant. I'd love to see him define some of the words the speechwriters put in his mouth.

2. I really do wonder why networks keep giving him time.

Is it a law that they have to carry his speaches? He never says anything of any import, so why bother?

3. The Presidential Filibuster - Stay on the air as long as possible
to delay or stop the pending indictments.

Maybe he will speak for the duration of the Grand Jury, That would bore everyone to sleep.

10. I only caught part of it.
But I did catch mentions of 9/11, Iraq, terrorists, and I think 9/11 again. And Syria. And terrorists, and 9/11.

7. he's trying to be the guy you'd like to have a beer with again.
How could anybody not like this good old boy?

How mean of that nasty cheney to get this sweet-hearted, good-natured good old boy in trouble!

12. Once again he's making a major policy speech
This is really spelling out the strategy for the WOT and Iraq. A turning point that will rally Americans behind him again.

Uh-huh..

He's got the West Coast on Airport Alert, Jebbie down in FLA with Wilma and he figures if he keeps cheerleading God will reward him with an A+ for Persistence.

15. It's banana republic time
No banana republic is complete without ubiquitous televised "speeches" from the "dear leader."

16. He's soaking up the last bit of camera time he can before
it all falls apart. This is his last moment to play President, the character they created, the swaggering cowboy, the likable kind-hearted Christian. Momentarily it will all collapse all around him. Then it will be endless questions about what did you know and when did you know it? Will you resign?

It's his last moment before it all falls apart. Presidenting is hard.
