What is the most outlandish lie you have caught someone in

Just reading the post about a guy pretending to be a soldier.

When the internets first came to be, I met a man.
I had no idea about frauds or anything...but this guy claimed to be a pilot. We set up a meeting. He was going to fly to Ft. Worth to meet me.
We were then gonna fly somewhere "special" (his words).
Unfortunately, he had a heart attack the day before this was to happen.
We talked a little while longer...but then it all petered out.
Anyway...several months down the road, I got a phone call from a woman asking if _______ (my screen name) lived here.
Right away I was spooked because they knew my screen name.
Anyway, I told her it was me.
Apparently the guy I was talking to was her fiance who had stolen a bunch of money AND time from her and she was angry. Wanted me to testify against him kind of deal. I refused any part of that...it truly was her problem since I had only talked to the guy on the computer.
She went on to tell me that he worked at a bread factory in Missouri and had never had a heart attack,lol.
Anyway...anyone else have a good story?
(Biding time waiting on indictments and for Will to start flecking poop).

5. I have One

One of my straight friends met a guy in a chat room and started an online relationship. Months into the relationship they planned on meeting in her hometown. The night before the guy called her and confessed that he was a she. Even after taling on the phone my friend had no idea.

9. I cannot narrow it down to just one lie for this person.

I women I have known for years cannot tell the truth. She will lie to you about what happened the day before when you were there.
She will lie about anything & everything. When you call her on it she will just change the subject.
She reminds me a lot of bush & his cronies come to thing of it.

10. Explainations for child abuse

Those loop marks weren't made by a belt or switch, they must be from mosquito bites.

The baby hit him and gave him the black eye.

Then there are the ones who bring their kid to the hospital with broken bones and don't know how it happened.

My favorite didn't involve a lie, it involved simple honesty.
"There's no purpose in licking em if it don't leave any marks". That was actually the easier client to work with, because she was honest.
