1. You expect them to be original thinkers? . . .
I do believe you expect too much from the mass of media stenographers. Why not try to get people to cease using the appellative "-gate" to describe every alleged government infraction and possible scandal? Or better yet, try spitting into the wind -- you'll have as much success and you'll get the added benefit of physical activity as you jump about trying to avoid getting wettened by spittle.
