3. It is quite probable, IMHO

The grand jury is the 1st round, the trials are the world series. Once indictments are handed down more and more of the accused may cut deals and turns states evidence. New facts will come out in discovery. It is likely the trials will be well covered and raise many questions in the media as well. Hopefully there are many investigative journalists who will want to dig deep to make a name for themselves.
