When I was in the Army (89-92) |
|
During Basic training we had to memorize our Chain of Command from the President on down to our Seargent. One link in the chain was the Secretary of Defense. In order to properly recite the Chain of Command I had to call the sec. of defense "The Honorable Richard Cheney"
I cringe now at having had to call this man HONORABLE so many times...

2. At the risk of being "nuked"... Cheney seemed "OK" back in the early 90's |
|
As several pundits have said recently, Cheney is a much different man than we was in the early 90's. Yes, he was a big time conservative, but at least he seemed somehwat honorable when he was SecDef. No he's a secretive, lying, snearing NeoCon.
I was in the Army 85-91 so he was in my C-of-C as well.
