i'll bet there are a lot of brothers and sisters on DU that are mighty glad she didn't listen to people that tried to sway her from her mission.
'the RW press will eat her alive!' 'it's a distraction!' 'it's bad timing!' 'her 15 minutes of fame are up!' 'it will make democrats look bad!' 'she'll turn off swing voters!' 'SNC/NAACP is a commie front!' 'she should wear sensible shoes, then her feet wouldn't be so tired!'
y'know Cindy Sheehan one the most couragous citizens to come on the scene since Rosa Parks, and it's really sad to come on to DU to read the things like i've written above about her on this board. :eyes:

2. Been saying that for a long time now |

You have to stand up for what is right not what is politically advantagious. Great leaders are not known for telling people what they want to hear. They are known for telling people what they need to hear and making them understand it.

And that's all I'll say about that, for now, because I think I am starting to piss people off about the Cindy thing lately :yoiks:
