6. Proves that if media had told the truth about Bush before the election....
in both 2000 and 2004.

Bush and his integrity was a media MIRAGE.

3. Let's just hope that these numbers...
...squelch any hope of Jeb "PNACer" Bush running in 08.

Let's hope that Junior screws up everything so royally, that Jeb won't be looking for any job in politics, EVER!

8. Generic Dem can't get smeared. Whenever a real person fills that
role, the GOP swift-boat machine kicks into gear.

10. Remarkably, that's the identical number at Rasmussen
I know, Rasmussen is a Bush shill and a Repuke.

But the numbers today are the same as CNN, exactly the same, 42%.

15. Welcome to DU
Last election, I posted Premium Rasmussen numbers every day.

I wish Scott Rasmussen was wrong, but his numbers were the same as the election outcome.

However, there are some who think neither of those numbers were quite Kosher. Maybe he had inside info, and didn't need to poll. In which case, we're all just wasting our time.

I hope that's not the case, so I just keep on fighting the good fight.

11. But that's with a "Generic Dem" - - if you used real Dems in there
The Dems could get far less than 55% - - and Smirk could get way more than 55% himself. Does anybody seriously think that Gary Condit would get 55% against Smirk? Or Barney Frank?

That's the reality of the situation - - there are going to be Republicans who are re-elected in 2006 no matter how bad Smirk's ratings are. And the right Republican and/or the wrong Democrat could easily keep the White House in Republican hands for another 8 years.

Oops, just realized that the subject line might appear that I was addressing the OP author--not so! Just a question for the 39% . . .

14. So in other words, they like him, but not that much to trust him again....
If this wasn't so bizarre, it would be funny as hell.
