2000 dead is not a milestone.
They can run, but they cannot hide behind their propaganda.

U.S. Army Lt. Col. Steve Boylan, director of the force's combined press center, wrote in an e-mail to reporters, "I ask that when you report on the events, take a moment to think about the effects on the families and those serving in Iraq. The 2,000 service members killed in Iraq supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom is not a milestone. It is an artificial mark on the wall set by individuals or groups with specific agendas and ulterior motives."

2. Yeah
He's right.

One soldier dead for a lie is too fucking much.

It's pathetic that it takes these kinds of numbers to get Americans to give a damn about how their soldiers are used.

4. Yes, and Boylan has no specific agenda and ulterior motive?

Here's our agenda and not-so-ulterior motive:

http://www.unitedforpeace.org/article.php?id=3118

United for Peace and Justice supports the calls of our member groups - American Friends Service Committee http://www.afsc.org/2000/, Gold Star Families for Peace http://www.gsfp.org and Military Families Speak Out http://www.mfso.org - for actions on the day after the 2,000th U.S. serviceperson's death is announced. We urge to you join the hundreds of peace and justice groups throughout the country as we tell the President, Congress and the world that 2,000 U.S. deaths in Iraq is 2,000 too many.

We will remember the 2,000 U.S. servicemen and women who have died in Iraq.
We will remember the tens of thousands of Iraqis -- civilians and combatants, men and women, children the elderly -- who have been killed.
We will remember that these deaths did not have to happen, should not have happened.
We will call for our troops to be brought home now. Don't ask these men and women to continue to die for politicians' mistakes and lies. And we want them treated right when they return. Give them the benefits they were promised and give them the help they will need to heal their bodies, their minds and their spirits.
We will demand an end to the occupation so the Iraqi people can determine their own destiny free from foreign interference and control.

10. "Rear Echlon Mother-Fuckers"
Perfect.

I notice all combat vets use this term to describe the yellow bastards who insist on fighting "the culture war" instead of fighting a war they feel passionately enough to believe in to the point where they would throw full soda cans at a girl like this like the fuckers did back during election season to the Iraq War I Vets who came out in protest of the war.

2000 families having to suffer the pain and anguish of losing a loved one....all for a lie. What specific agenda? What ulterior motive? Its disgusting to think he would say this, when people are trying to prevent the loss of so many lives military & civilian.
