Should I be worried that some might try to "influence" Fitzgerald ? |
|
According to reports... as of a couple of days ago... F had "not made up his mind" whether or not to seek indictments. This disturbed me at the time since the probe seemed to be "winding-up".
Now there's this limbo before the grand jury expires. What, if anything, is happening behind the scenes? Would the evildoers be trying to quash any possible indictments? If so, how might they be going about this?
I've been off the board for a while , so.... sorry for any redundancy.

9. I fear greatly for his life! |

However, the more I hear about his untouchable-ness, the more confident I am, he will come out alive. For one thing...it would be hard for them to get away with an "accident". They're already in so much trouble. You'd have to be an idiot to not know it was them doing the outing. They can't get the Cia to do it- not a good relationship I imagine. I tell you what- the suspense of it all is driving us crazy!

2. No. No one can influence Fitzgerald. |
|
That's what's panicking the hell out of them.

5. No. He is a straight shooter. |
|
Personally, I think the reason he is dragging this out until just before the grand jury expires is so that the rethugs can't say there was a 'rush to judgment' or some other shit like that.

6. No you should be sure that it will happen |
|
That doesn't mean he'll cave to such pressure; but i'm sure some is going on. Bryant Check it out --> http://politicalcomment.blogspot.com Big Contest at blog - To potentially win a subscription to Salon Magazine, visit this post --> http://politicalcomment.blogspot.com/2005/10/contest.html

8. I don't think he could be influenced. |
|
He's running a very tight ship, and has prosecuted some pretty serious cases (didn't he have the Gotti case?). I think this is why there is so much speculation, because in the absense of information, people tend to "fill in the blanks" on their own. From everything I've read about him, he would not be easily influenced by anybody.

10. He did do mafia bad guys in NY. Successfully. |
|
That's pretty scary.
But there's other ways of influencing people, besides dumping a horse head on your bed. I can't help feeling that the evildoers have a contingency plan for this circumstance.
They've had so much time to think about it.
