6. Libby is the fall guy, the patsy, the one who will cover for Uncle |
Dick, take the rap and wait for Shrub to pardon him. The pardon is probably already signed and in the hands of Libby's lawyer with instructions to produce it if something happens to * or on January 19, 2009, whichever.

7. Apparently Cheney was under oath when he testified |
I've heard it verified from several different sources, including the NYT yesterday.

9. Perhaps you're thinking of the 9/11 Commission. |
Bush & Cheney spoke to them in private, together & not under oath.
No recordings were made, either.

5. This is so obvious. They laid the groundwork with the articles |
about Libby's "obsession." Now they have Uncle Dick telling him something he probably had the clearance to hear. They will say he then ran off like a loose cannon spouting this to reporters and getting poor old Karl all confused and flummoxed. Libby takes one for the team, Bush will pardon him on January 19, 2009 and they will try to keep him out of prison until then with delaying tactics and appeals. Stock options will flow to him and his.
