i like your name.

we have a lot of ocelots here. i haven't seen one yet, though i saw a jaguarundi. we have margays too. and jaguars and one or two other species of wild cats.

5. si.....i'm in costa rica
supposedly there are wild cats on my property but i haven't spent enough time there to see one yet. the neighbors say there are jaguars in the area.

6. That sounds mysterious, exotic and absolutely beautiful.
Much too much cement and asphalt around here for such vibrant, intensely alive animals.

12. we don't have near as much cement....
...but being close to the equator also helps us out when it comes to biodiversity.

13. i'm not aware of that
i see a lot of monos congos (howler monkeys) and hear them everywhere in the rainforest. but i'm clueless as to how they could help one fish.

14. Ok the secret is about to get out. LOL
First, most people commonly believe that one needs to keep quiet when fishing. NOT... get those monks going and they jump around in the trees and scatter food down to the water where the fish live. The fish know this and begin to gather where all the commotion is taking place because they have learned the behavior that the manna is about to fall. Yummmmmm... bite bite bite....fish dinner. Got it?
