How must the soldier in Iraq feel ?
I'm talking about the soldier that is stuffing his rosary in his pocket, or double checking his St. Christopher, or tying his left boot lace first because he needs all the luck he can muster for the patrol or convoy run he's assigned to today.

How's this guy going to feel when the news comes out on the front page of the Stars and Stripes that he whole reason he's there is because of Dick Cheneys fabricated bullshit?

Man, what a head trip to put on a person.

1. We prayed to
all Gods, whether we believed in said God or not, and every lucky charm we could find was used before we rolled out on patrol.

4. Be safe soldier.... I have put a link here... you may consider it
outlandish, you may consider it heretical, but if you take a look at it, the prophecies might give you hope for a better future and an understanding of what we as a people are going through now... I am not saying I totally agree with what is there, but I do try to keep an open mind regarding such issues... take care, 4

2. You think that they need an indictment to know what cheney
and the rest of them did? My guess is that they are pretty clear on how the US got there, they aren't a bunch of dumb guys. What they aren't clear on is if they are going to make it out alive.

10. True
in 04, my CO would say in morning formation "It's a good day! Our president crushed that coward Kerry in the debate last night!" Knowing of course most of the soldiers couldnt be bothered to watch for him/herself. My bud standing next to me had to remind me to 'pick my jaw up off the floor.

Too many soldiers (mostly young) just take their leaderships word about political decission. they learn too late...

11. How do you ask a soldier to be the last one to die for an illegal war?
It just sucks so bad.
