Solutions for Freepers who don't like taxes
Edited on Tue Oct-25-05 06:49 PM by KingFlorez
Take a low wage job at Halliburton or some other corporation you love, then you won't qualify to pay taxes! Granted, you'll have a problem buying food and paying the mortgage, but at least you can avoid those evil, communist tax and spend liberals grabbing your money.

1. Yeah
They can be some of those "lucky duckies" the Wall Street Journal indentified a few years back. People who earn so little they don't have to pay much in taxes.

4. Leave the country. It is unpatriotic to complain about paying taxes.

5. My grandfather was a wonderful man, and he said it best
"I don't mind paying taxes because the more I pay, that means the more I've made."

He was also fond of saying:
"I don't have a problem with how the government collects taxes, I just don't like how they spend 'em!"

He was a smart man, a very smart man indeed!

8. My Union Dad had that saying too.
"I don't mind paying taxes because the more I pay, that means the more I've made." Not exact but along the same line. Middle class FReepers fail to understand that their Greedy Leaders raise taxes on them by taking away deductions and starving Fed Gov of tax revenue both at the Fed level and at the state level, thereby causing other taxes to be increased, such as property taxes, sales taxes etc. But as long as they don't see the hit on their paycheck, they think the aforementioned either isn't happening, or is not a result of the policies of their leaders. :banghead: FReepers make my head hurt.

7. lots of ideas
For starters, they should stop using public roads and public schools. They should turn in their drivers' licenses to the DMV, and should refuse on principle to fly, since air traffic is federally managed. They should never turn to the National Weather Service for information about this hurricane or that tornado. They should burn down the prisons and the courts. Those subsidies they received to grown or not grow their crops all need to be returned. Oh, and they should march up to the nearest military installation and tell 'em we won't be financing any more wars, war games, tanks, armor, guns, or any more medical care for veterans.

9. Tell them to tell the boss that
they oppose the minimum wage, also.

Oh, and "socialist" ideas like health benefits.

"looters"? They'd be the "Finders" there amongst the "looters" . . .

15. Somalia is a bunch of well-armed clans like in Mad Max.
I'd like to see the "rugged, self-sufficient" freeper type try to survive five minutes in that environment. Their fantasies of being rugged and self-sufficient would evaporate after the first burst of AK-47 bullets flies over their head and they realize there's no 9-11 to call. In fact, theres no telephone.

But gee, I'm sure they would love the place because the big evil government wouldn't be bothering them anymore.

13. See this news story? There's a solution for THIS guy...
Federal Jury Convicts Anti-Tax Crusader

<snip>

Anti-tax crusader Irwin Schiff and an associate were found guilty Monday of charges including conspiracy, tax evasion and tax fraud that could get each of them decades in federal prison and millions of dollars in fines.

Schiff, 77, who argues that paying taxes is voluntary, was handcuffed and led from U.S. District Court after a jury found him guilty of all 13 charges.

<snip>

The judge could sentence Schiff to up to 43 years in prison and up to $3.25 million in fines, plus unspecified sanctions for outbursts during the trial. He ordered Schiff jailed without bond until sentencing Jan. 20.

<snip>

The government obtained an injunction banning Schiff, Cohen and Neun from selling the books and tax advice at Schiff's Las Vegas business, Freedom Books.

...pack your bags pal. Leave. Take a fantasy ride to the places without taxes: Thunderdome, Mordor, and Geidi Prime.
