Does Anybody Else Here... Feel A Disturbance... In The Force ??? |
|
Maybe it just be me, but I'm feeling silent forces arraying against us. Like right now, and for the next several months.
Just me... I suppose...

of the news of the Repubs holding their "war council" earlier today.
When the indictments come out they're going to fight back hard.....very, very hard.
They won't go down easy.
Get ready for a hugh (patriotic or faux patriotic) media blitz.
It's going to be a bumpy ride.

Reminds me of a joke.
Man goes to a doctor. Complains of erectile dysfunction.
Doctor examines him and tells him that the usual treatment won't work, but there is an experimental treatment that may work. In any event, it's his only chance.
Patient asks the doc what the treatment is. Doc says it's a new surgical technique. They take the muscle from a baby elephant's trunk and implant it at the base of the patient's penis, assisting in providing an erection. The patient says, "do it"
Doc does the surgery, and six weeks later, the man decides to take out the new penis for a spin. He takes his wife to dinner.
Halfway through dinner, the man feels a familiar "fullness" in his pants. Then his zipper opens and his penis pops out of his pants, grabs a dinner roll from a basket on the table, then returns to his pants and closes his zipper.
is wife looks on in astonishment and says, with a smile on her face,"Can you do that again?"
He says, "I think so, but I don't believe I can fit another dinner roll up mu ass"

6. They will explode in fits of rage |
|
when the indictments come down (tomorrow). They will attack Fitz, the media, the Dems, liberals in general and everyone else who dares disagree with them.
They are loading all of their slime machines to the hilt and warming up the engines.

9. Yes, I just did--because my husband is being a cynical grump! |
|
I also feel this!
Something just doesn't feel right.
This feeling was bothering me so much, that I sparked a conversation with my husband. I said, "Honey, so do you think tomorrow will be Fitzmas?" and he replied, "No". I said, "What do you mean, do you think it will be Thursday?".
He then said, "I think Fitz will let the time expire and nothing at all will happen. That's what I think. Democrats always make a big deal out of Republican scandals that never amount to anything. Nothing will happen."
I about threw a pillow at him. Now, my cage is rattled.
Then I read your post about the "disturbance in the force."
Perhaps it's because these thugs have escaped accountability on a plethora of heinous crimes. Maybe, at the 11th hour we're afraid to have hope. Also--I agree with the previous poster, that these thugs will not go down easily. I'm sure they'll have some evil master plan in their arsenal--that will be put into action if they are held responsible.
It's just a really maddening, unpredictable, stressful time right now.
That can definitely cause a disturbance in the force.

Also, in the last 2 days, I've received the same dumb patriotic email (guards guarding the tomb of the unknown soldier) from two repugs.....
I think there's a plan underfoot to send the patriotic emails out to the base to galvanize.

Sometime my brain explode after listening on some of the news. Sometimes it is just like visiting freeper site. Somestime I get to witness nice moments like Robert Bryd ( Maybe name wrong spelling) about 2000 about admiting congress make a mistake about the shame about the constituation about the 2000 blood being on congress hand. Sometime I witness the brave lonely Democrat like Boxer trying her best to do the right thing. To dispute the vote backing the congressman and women To call a liar a liar to the face of Condi

In fact, I'm going to go to bed early, so I can wake up early and read the good news.
Keep the faith, Willy T. The numbers and the momentum are against bush, his administration, and his dwindling core of support.
