24. One of the female Repug ranters who called had just called Monday

where she was allowed to spread her lies for what seemed like five minutes. She calls again and spreads her lies. I was convinced I'd never watch C-Span's WJ ever again after Monday's crazy callers..but in channel surfing I saw a Dem on WJ and stopped. It was a mistake.

Remember when C-Span used to caution about not calling in if you'd called in the last 30 days? The hosts would catch a voice and caution them. I'm sure they can have a databank where they can identify phone numbers or the location of callers....but now they just let the Repug loonies call and rant. It's disgusting what it's become.

Pedro isn't as bad as the others, but the "quality" of callers and the subject matter has my red flags flying right now.

There's a lot of misinformation that is being funneled through here that gets amplified on shows later throughout the day. It is used by local wingnut talk show hosts to frame their attacks and slime and jumps to the bloggers who find their own niches to spin shit into apple butter.

I was glad to see Congressmen McGovern and Markey this morning...two of the best...but they were limited in what they could talk about and put on the defensive from the outset by the way these forums are arranged.
