Our Presidential Candidate in 08 should be a victim of the ** Admin. |
|
Someone who was slandered, smeared, etc. by the Bush Cabal.
It'll be a guarantee that Justice will be served.
I'm starting to think we should have a "Draft Joe (Wilson)" campaign.
Or should we pick someone else?

1. Well if we are looking for someone who has been slandard |
|
and smeared by the Bush Cabal, I guess Kerry would fit that bill. I don't think we should run Wilson. 13. Nothing that has been said about Hillary has actually damaged |
|
her extensively or cost her any real pain. She writes books that she gets paid millions to write, she get free press, and she is a household name.

21. Not a chance in hell she would win... so no. |
|
She wouldn't pick up one red state.
Bush's numbers may be low, but that doesn't mean she inspires any confidence in the more rural states.
Besides, the Bush Cabal has slandered EVERY Democrat, so that could be anybody.

With a clear and concise message. If the Dems fuck up 2008, I'm out of the party for good.

The Dems have been screwing around way too much, count on them to blow the opportunity with the Plame thing, if it materializes.

Betweent the two of them, perhaps we could get out of this total mess in the mid-East.

7. Wilson is ok, but Kerry took more abuse than him. When Bush |

& co. smeared Kerry it not only hurt him it put this country and us at risk also. I say John Kerry.

16. The Democrats are finished if she runs |
|
She's too divisive, people get too emotional, plus she seems to be telling people what they want to hear in her run to the center.

I just know she can't pick up any states Kerry didn't. Pretty simple. I want to win.
Let's pick a liberal perceived as a moderate. Not a moderate perceived (in the reddish/purple states) as a liberal. Come on!

totally agree with you, i've been saying this for a while. i like hillary too, but she can't win. not only won't she win any states that were red in 2004, there's an outside chance she'd lose a previously blue state or two.
even if hillary weren't as divisive as she is, i would still say she shouldn't get the nomination - and neither should kerry, or biden, or boxer, or any number of other names i've seen thrown around. why? because they're all senators.

Al Gore was my first thought too. He was constantly slandered and misrepresented by *, Rove, and their minions during his 2000 presidential campaign. And he was the first of millions to lose his job thanks to the * economy. He would be a great candidate, IMHO.

this Administration has been a victim of it--including some REpublicans. We need to run someone in '08 who can win. Just picking someone because they are a victim is not smart if otherwise they can't get elected.

Of course, to be eligible, you have to have been born in the USA, so now we've only got 300-some-odd-million to choose from.
I think we'll be able to find someone.
