than usual?

That was my impression when I caught some of the video of him going to work.

1. Does he have security protection?
He needs it more than anyone at this point.
I pray for his safety.

3. I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if he is worried
about his safety or that of his friends and family?

2. I'm sure he is--it's make or break time for him
He could come out today with a fist full of nothing if the Grand Jury doesn't agree with him. I imagine any lawyer presenting "closing arguments" and waiting for the verdict needs a lot of bathroom breaks!!!

4. Well, yeah.
Half the country is going to hate him, no matter what he decides.

I would be pretty damn nervous, too.

6. If indictments are handed down less than 50% will hate him
Haven't you seen the polls? I know the media and we here at DU talk about the public being divided but with these charges and the current atmosphere of the White House, post-Katrina, post 2000 dead in Iraq with still no strategy.... I seriously doubt half will hate him if indictments are issued.

11. Man, what a nitpicker
OK 47.2358% will hate him (or whatever).

You get the point --- a lot of people are going to be mad one way or the other.

10,000 friends are not nearly as helpful as 1 dedicated psycho who hates you is hurtful.

Ask any celebrity with a stalker.

14. I know there are going to be a lot of people (psychos)
hating him... but I think it is really way below 50% - not meant to be a nit picker or anything. I mean you think just barely 1/2 the population votes and just barely Bush supposedly won (so you're talking 25% of the population) and now his ratings are in the tank. So I'd say it's more like 1 in 7 would hate him. Seeing that they are the raving neo-con psychos I'd still have my body guards for life.

Just 1 in 7 is different than 1 in 2.

13. Latest Poll
From CNN/USA Today:

Thirty-nine percent said some administration officials acted illegally in the Plame matter.

Thirty-nine percent said the adminstration officials did nothing illegal.

51 percent saying the ethics of the Bush administration was excellent or good.

http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/10/25/cia.leak/

Basically a wash.

7. He had that same look to me.
We've only seen a couple of clips before, it was always the same ones. I like the fact that he doesn't talk to the hoards of reporters surrounding him.

10. This guy would make a good Attorney General or federal judge
His qualifications are better than most partisan hacks on the payroll right now.

12. Regarding how many people would hate him
What was the last Gallup or whatever poll touted on CNN? It said that 39% thought criminal activity had happened and 39% thought purjury or some such thing...anyway, the gist was that adding the two together it's like 78% of the people, therefore, DO NOT excuse these people or think they didn't do anything wrong. The vocal lunatics who will be faithful to the crime syndicate even if they invade their home and rape their children will be the only ones yelling loudly and I think this time the MSM know it and won't side with them.
