Fitz sending out FBI agents for last minute interviews today.
For what it's worth....just heard on Democracy Now that the independent council has sent agents into the field for last minute interviews.

1. It doesn't sound like an investigation that's going to end...
this week. Seems like he's going to need more time.

3. On the other hand,
he may be trying to be 100% sure there are no holes and he wants to double and triple-check everything so that any charges he brings are air-tight.

2. Cool. I knew he'd work right down to the wire.
He's going to put every last nail in the Regime's coffin. And he won't forget the wooden stake.

4. Isn't that the purpose of sealed indictments?
Aren't they used when a prosecutor intends to continue investigating after some indictments are served?

8. Typically, yes.
They are kind of stashed away, for lack of a better term, while more evidence is collected.

12. But his Grand Jury expires in hours.
I'm not sure of the procedure but I'm guessing there is a Judge who has to be asked for an extended session for this GJ--or separate GJ to be convened for "new" charges and new targets?

5. Are you sure they weren't referring to what happened yesterday?
There have been several reports that Fitz did that yesterday. Spoke to Wilson's neighbors asking if they knew Val worked for the CIA before all the publicity. BTW, the answers were NO!

7. I'm not sure that tells us much.
These interviews could have been requested days ago and the FBI is only now getting around to doing them.

Re-questioning Wilson's neighbors seems like low priority information gathering.

10. Maybe it's to check into the on-going conspiracy
You know, the one with the propaganda of "everyone knew who Valerie Plame was...all of her neighbors knew she worked at the CIA".

BUSTED!

11. sbc yahoo news also references FBI interviews...to see if Plame's name
was known prior to leak.

13. The longer this goes on,
the more I'm inclined to think that nothing will happen in the end. Our worst nightmare will come true: Fitzgerald will fold up his tent and go back to Chicago and six months from now will issue some kind of meaningless report.

I have absolutely no faith that this administration will actually pay for its sins.

14. Crossing T's and dotting I's
FBI interviewd negihbots of the WIlsons yesterday solely as researching a notion that Plame was not as secretive with her identity as she needed to be. The neighbor said he was clueless she was CIA
