*Plan B* (aka, before DU Implodes :) |
Whatever the indictment outcome, the Wilsons are planning a civil suit. It's what brought Clinton down (Paula Jones), so I'm preparing for Plan B, how about you guys?

1. I think she can not sue while still employed by the CIA. but can file |
under a pseudonym or another group can file for her. See this related article: http://www.thecarpetbaggerreport.com/archives/4769.html

7. it probably has something to do with the Hatch Act |
as an employee of the government, Plame doesn't have the same rights as everyone else. My partner is an air traffic controller and as an employee of the FAA, the Hatch Act prevents her from suing the government (and also prohibits her from campaigning for politicians at work, wearing political shirts, buttons etc.)

9. Is Plame still working for the Gov't ? |
If so, maybe that's a huge mistake since her Outing? But, couldn't she sue an individual for putting her in harm's way?
Just think aloud....

10. correction on my part re: Hatch Act |
it only prohibits openly campaigning for a particular party/candidate. She may be able to sue an individual in the government.

3. Clinton was brought down? |
Hmmm, I wasn't aware of that. I must be in denial. Best President in my lifetime.

5. His ratings were never as low as Bush's. I don't agree he was brought down |
Where are you getting this line that he was brought down? It's your premise that I disagree with. I love Clinton and all the crap the Repukes did was just a side show based on partisan attacks. He was never brought down IMHO.

8. "Leaky-Freaky" Ken Starr brought him down.... |
not the American people.....and why Clinton survived. This current investigation is so much worse than Watergate and Bill, it's about National Security, not dirty campaign tricks and penises.
Therefore, I'll be disappointed if Bush isn't impeached, it's that serious, IMHO.
