Top Park Service workers told to follow President Bush’s agenda
Top Park Service workers told to follow President Bush’s agenda
By SCOTT McMILLION Chronicle Staff Writer

The Bush administration is enforcing hiring practices on National Park Service bosses that one national environmental group is calling an “unprecedented political intrusion.”

Everybody applying for a top job in any park must show “ability to lead employees”in achieving President Bush’s “Management Agenda,” according to an Oct.11 memo from NPS director Fran Mainella.

The management agenda is a 65-page document that calls for increased faith-based incentives, more outsourcing of government work and other controversial steps.

4. So...the public parks are now becoming outdoor Mega-churches?
Are they soon going to admit ONLY visitors who carry current version of St. James bible? Or will copies of St.J be placed at the base of each 100-foot pine, as a monument to separation of Church and nature.

6. Fed workers have the agenda figured out and they are mad as hell.
And they know the top posts are filled by Kool Aide drinkers & cronies. They know the plan is to privatize in order to funnel $$ to more cronies. They know conditions are now made to prevent good people from continuing to do good work and make the public pissed at government workers so they will swallow the 'privatize' agenda.

Fed workers have a news/info site and they are mad at hell at the junta, despite their personal political affiliation.

Good people who serve the people deserve our support, just like the military personnel and NOC Agents do. Some things are just better done collectively as a people. Letting this malAdministration fuck them over is not good for America.
