how buggy it's making the WH! Another whole newsday or perhaps 2 spent talking about WH staff/admin indictments.

I love it!

Keep turning the screws -- they are squirming like mad.

1. It is making the spin machine dizzy
because they don't know how to attack. If they try a preemptive strike over something that Fitzgerald didn't know about, he would ask for an extension--do you suppose he is hoping this will happen?

2. Don't want it too late in the week though.

While this is a biggie and will probably run for a while I still want it mid-week for maximum MSM coverage of the initial blast.

3. Yeah, but if he announces late on Friday it cuts the WH response short
and gives people the weekend --including Sunday news-- to chew on the corruption and treason.

If he announces on Monday --the Sunday news shows will be speculating like crazy. Either way, it's all about indictments through the weekend with little opportunity for the WH to respond. Maybe Russert can get another Repug senator to say something patently idiotic.

Of course, they could still gin up the terror alert ove the weekend. Perhaps Cheney could have a stroke on command.
