Maybe Fitz wants to investigate new crimes discovered while investigating the Plame matter (e.g. Niger-uranium fraud, etc.) and this could require a new grand jury.

Crimes uncovered during the course of the Plame leak investigation requiring a new grand jury be empaneled. That would point to the Niger Docs, Downing Street Memos, and possibly charges re: lying to Congress.

At the risk of being taken for another "internet crazy" and in the hope that Fitz wants to get to Rock Bottom of the Bush* Cabal's evil machinations, I just sent him the timeline of the neocon rise to power. It gives context and perspective to his investigation and it connects the remaining dots to reveal a Big Picture that may not have been immediately obvious to him. Extendeding the GJ would give me hope that the PNAC bastards might finally be exposed.
