... And this is the same guy who went on about professionalism and insisted on a strict dress code for his staff. Giving a televised speech to business leaders, and not bothering to shave beforehand, looks just as bad as showing up in a T-shirt and cutoff jeans.

I am not likely to win any "best-dressed" awards myself, but I attempt to make myself neat and presentable when I teach a college class. Even at an informal event (which Bush's speech wasn't), the person at the front of the room should NOT look sloppier than the audience.
